The Wine Box Barricadiero from the Marche winery Aurora contains 3 bottles of a deep and rich red made from Montepulciano, the emblematic grape of the region. It is the result of a reality born in the late 1970s with the intent to produce wines with a genuine and authentic face, inspired by the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. The Aurora Wine Box consists of 3 bottles of Montepulciano Barricadiero, a great territorial red, which originates in the Offida area. The estate extends over more than 30 hectares, of which about ten are dedicated to viticulture, within a natural environment rich in biodiversity. The vineyards are located at an altitude of about 150 meters above sea level, with a sunny exposure facing southwest, on clayey soils with calcareous and sandy components. The agronomic management is conducted only with the use of sulfur and copper and at the end of the harvest, the grapes are fermented in a spontaneous manner with indigenous yeasts. The wine matures for about 24 months in oak barrels and refines for a few months in the bottle.

The Aurora Barricadiero Wine Box offers the pleasure of tasting three bottles of a red capable of merging the typical fruity fragrance of Montepulciano, with complexity and persistence derived from a long aging. The time in wood has helped to soften the youthful edges and to give a greater expressive balance.
