Vermouth Rosso '721' DiBaldo - 50cl
DiBaldo Red Vermouth '721' also called "Vermouth of the Perfumer" is a spiced wine with an intense and original aromatic structure. The base is made from a red wine from Emilia Romagna, supplemented with alcohol, sugar and an infusion of over 25 herbs and spices. The nose is filled with scents of damask rose, followed by berries and spicy hints of vanilla and notes of bark
The unique production reality of Romagna, Dibaldo, presents the Vermouth Rosso ‘721’, a red wine flavored with a intense, rich, and elegant personality. The philosophy of Baldo Baldinini, master perfumer and alchemist who brought Dibaldo to life, has led him to specialize in the creation of spirits and beverages from self-produced essences crafted artisanally. Everything happens in the olfactory room, an almost mystical place that holds the extracts of the botanicals selected by Baldo, preserved in small containers of various kinds in what seems like the study of a past alchemist. For drafting his recipes, he uses scores specifically designed to meet the need to transcribe studies and discoveries in an appropriate language. The same scores are represented on the labels of his Bitters, Vermouths, and Gins.
Dibaldo Vermouth Rosso ‘721’ is made from a base of red wine from Emilia-Romagna, blended with alcohol, sugar, and an infusion of over 25 carefully selected and artisanally processed aromatic herbs and spices. Dibaldo does not use any chemical additives, caramel or burnt sugar during the production process.
The Vermouth Rosso ‘721’ Dibaldo has an intense coppery color. Hints of damask rose, berries, red grapes, myrtle, and notes of absinthe and oriental barks describe the rich and intoxicating olfactory spectrum, assisted by spicy notes of vanilla and perceptions of acacia honey and violet. The richness and intensity are confirmed on the palate, where the high concentration is well supported by the aromatic and dry finish reminiscent of the fruity and spicy sensations evoked by the nose. A “Vermouth out of the ordinary” capable of rewriting the standards of the type.
