The Valpolicella Ripasso ‘Valpantena’ by Bertani is a traditional wine from Verona, produced on the basaltic soils of the renowned Valpantena. The ‘ripasso’ is a local technique, a continuation of fermentation on the dried skins of Amarone. This gives body, warmth, and pleasant notes of candied fruit.
