The Sauvignon Collio by Livon is a very typical expression of Friulian white. Grown on marl and sandstone soils of the Dolegna area, it is produced in steel, at low temperatures, to maximize the fragrance of the fruit. The pale yellow color with greenish reflections anticipates a citrus aromatic profile, accompanied by characteristic tropical notes such as pineapple. On the palate, it is lively, distinctly mineral, as typical for Collio wines, with great persistence. To be tried with asparagus risotto.
