The Rum 'Pure Single Jamaican Pagos' Hampden Estate 2023 is a Jamaican rum that originates in the parish of Trelawny from a very long fermentation with indigenous yeasts and from distillation in a ‘pot still’, atypical for a rum. It ages entirely in a tropical climate in five-hundred-liter barrels that previously held Sherry Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez, sourced from famous Andalusian bodegas. On the nose, it releases aromas of ripe tropical fruit and varnish, with raisins, leather, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is powerful and oily, with great intensity, with a sweetness imparted by the wood and a long spicy finish, perfect for meditating alongside dark chocolate
