Riesling 'Semicolon' Nikolaihof 2022

The Riesling ‘Semicolon’ from the Nikolaihof winery carries in its name a punctuation mark to tell the story of a Riesling that unites two worlds: the tradition of Wachau and the experimental drive of Nikolaus Saahs and Katharina Salzgeber. The idea is to find new ways to express the freshness of a great Austrian terroir. One third of the mass ferments whole cluster before a long rest in barrique, a path that distances the wine from the classic codes of the grape variety in search of its purest expression.
