From our sommeliers

The Pommard ‘Les Vignots’ by Marchand-Tawse comes from one of the highest crus on the northern slope of the denomination, at three hundred and thirty meters above sea level, where the red soils are the secret behind the great concentration of fruits. In the cellar, each phase follows the lunar calendar, a principle dear to Pascal Marchand since the biodynamic beginnings of the maison. On the nose, plum and black cherry emerge, along with wet earth and a touch of pepper, while the palate is full, with a firm yet mature tannin and a long, savory finish. Perfect with venison in pepper sauce, a classic autumn dish of the area

Colour:
Intense ruby red with garnet reflections
Scent:
Dark, with marasca cherry and plum, then underbrush and a finish with tobacco and black pepper
Taste:
Full and round, with a slender sip and a firm tannin for the type, very long and savory
