The Nero d’Avola "16 Filari" is a rich and juicy red wine from the renowned area of Camporeale, in Palermo, vinified in steel and aged in oak barrels for 8 months. Enveloping aromas of cherries, berries, and dark fruit combine with spicy nuances in a soft, pleasant, and seductive tasting, with a fine and smooth tannic structure.

sea level, on hills with sandy-loam soils. The thinning of the clusters during the pre-veraison phase allows for quality creation and a first selection of the clusters. The harvest is carried out manually using small crates. Following destemming, the must obtained ferments in small steel tanks, thanks to indigenous yeasts. At the end of this phase, malolactic fermentation also takes place. The aging consists of a period of 8 months in French oak tonneaux and a subsequent resting of 6 months in the bottle before marketing.

Case Alte Nero d’Avola “16 Filari” has a deep and dark ruby red color, but with great liveliness. The aroma is intense in its fruity bouquet of cherry, blackberry, and raspberry, as well as in the spicy and herbal trail that develops hints of rosemary, tobacco, and cloves. The body is full and streamlined by freshness, while the softness balances the tannin, which is present but silky. Every phase of tasting highlights a disruptive and strong personality, as only Sicily can generate.
