The Grüner Veltliner ‘Steinterrassen’ from the Nikolaihof winery tells the story of patience as a stylistic feature: after eleven years in wooden barrels, this wine meets the bottle and is ready for the glass. On the nose, it is rich in ripe fruit and honey, the palate is wide and lively, capable of uniting softness and tertiary complexity. It should be served decanted, excellent with a porcini mushroom risotto and mountain butter
