The Franciacorta Rosé Brut by Ugo Vezzoli is made from Pinot Noir grapes, with a minimum amount of Chardonnay depending on the vintage, grown in owned vineyards. This Classic Method involves a short contact with the skins that gives the wine its pink color and a stay of 24 months on the lees, which provides a creamy foam and very fine perlage. On the nose, notes of small red fruits, toasted hints, and a pleasant hint of caramel emerge, while on the palate it presents itself full, with a finish that leaves room for a slight bitter note. Perfect for an elegant aperitif, it pairs beautifully with a tartare of red shrimp.
