The Franciacorta Brut Vintage is born from the ingenuity of owner Vittorio Moretti and the skilled hand of winemaker Mattia Vezzola. The Bellavista winery is among the most authoritative and famous names in Italian sparkling wines, considered a true maison of Franciacorta thanks to its production of symbolic and high-quality sparkling wines. The Vintage Brut Franciacorta is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes of the same vintage grown on high hills with a South/Southeast exposure from vines over 25 years old. A portion of the must ferments in small white oak barrels for about 7 months, while the remaining in steel. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method and the aging on the lees lasts 36 months, the time necessary for the yeasts to give back everything they have "eaten". This is followed by disgorgement and closure with the classic cork and metal cage.
