The Rosé de Saignee Champagne by Lelarge-Pugeout is a fine yet intense rosé, with a substantial sip, produced solely from Pinot Meunier. The ‘bleeding’ method, which involves drawing wine from a barrel where red is macerating, is a technique responsible for the color and texture of this sparkling wine. On the nose, lively hints of red fruits dominate, with spicy tones leading to a finish that combines pastry with saline notes. Creamy and juicy, it is balanced by the freshness of the sip, almost citrusy. Perfect for meditation or paired with refined shellfish dishes.
