Champagne Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Fallet

The Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne by Fallet-Gourron is an iconic expression of Avize, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. The Chardonnay grapes are cultivated to return a pure expression of the local gypsum. A contemporary interpretation of a terroir that has set the standard, it rests for a long time in large Alsatian oak barrels that round out the base wine, before aging for years on the lees. On the nose, it reveals aromas of cedar and pastry, with hazelnut and a touch of gypsum. On the palate, it combines verticality and creaminess, with very fine and discreet bubbles, constant freshness, and a gypsum-like finish free of edges, ideal with dishes of fine grilled fish.
