Champagne Brut Réserve by Jean Vesselle is an intriguing bubble realized from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, by this historical and familiar Recoltants Manipulants maison in Bouzy, in the heart of Montaigne de Reims area. This is a real classic Brut, able to always be an assurance, fine and direct, very perfumed on the nose with a generous, smooth and extremely creamy sip; it closes to ripe fruits memories and left a glad desire to drink it one more time

The Brut Réserve by Jean Vesselle is a Champagne that originates from the renowned area of Montagne de Reims and is made with a blend characterized by a very high percentage of Pinot Noir and a balance of Chardonnay. It is a cuvée with a classic face, intense and elegant, that best expresses the character of the territory. Its aromas, rich and broad, offer a generous and enveloping sip, reminiscent of floral scents, fragrant fruit, bread crust, and refined evolving notes.

The Champagne Brut Réserve Jean Vesselle is produced with grapes from the famous cru of Bouzy, in the Montagne de Reims area. The vines, which yield clusters of refined quality, are located on clay-limestone soils particularly suited to the needs of Pinot Noir, which represents over 80% of the harvest. In the cellar, efforts are made to enhance its dense aromatic profile and extraordinary freshness. The company’s philosophy expresses the desire to create artisanal Champagnes with a distinctive character, capable of bringing the personality of the terroir into the glass without oenological mediations. This is a small production dedicated to those seeking Champagne that deviates from the international and precise taste of the larger Maisons.

The Champagne Réserve from Maison Jean Vesselle is a Brut dosage that perfectly represents the style of this family-run business. It is crafted with a skillful blend of younger vintages and 15% older reserve wines, which impart harmony, balance, and complexity. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes are vinified separately, plot by plot. The base wines rest for several months before being combined in the final cuvée. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle according to the Champenoise method, with aging on the lees for at least 30 months. In the glass, it appears golden yellow with bright reflections and is crossed by a fine and persistent perlage. The aromas recall ripe yellow fruit, honeyed and pastry softness, toasted bread, and iodized sensations. On the palate, it is creamy, with lively freshness and pleasant minerality, distinguished by an elegant and captivating body. It is a small gem dedicated to enthusiasts of
