The Chablis by Louis Moreau is a white wine from Burgundy based on Chardonnay, vinified and matured exclusively in steel. With a golden mantle, it reveals aromas of white flowers, dried fruit, apple, peach, pear, and citrus. The sip is clear, refined, and fine, with a fresh and pleasantly mineral taste

The Chablis by Louis Moreau is the most representative label of the Domaine, the one that best illustrates the typical characteristics of the whites from this famous Appellation, located in the northern part of Burgundy. Chablis is the homeland of great northern Chardonnays, with a fresh, tense, and vibrant profile, loved by those seeking finesse, elegance, and the clear and pure expression of the best varietal notes of the grape. The vinification in steel enhances its fragrance and expressive immediacy, bringing to the forefront the extraordinary quality of the grapes and the mineral and savory hints that characterize the terroir of the Chablis area.

The Chablis wine is born in a historic reality of the territory, which has been cultivating vines since the early 1800s. Louis Moreau is a family domain that still produces great wines today with an authentic artisanal spirit and a great love for the land. The label is a cuvée made from grapes sourced from different vineyards of the estate, located in the territories of Chablis and Beines. The vines are about 40 years old and are cultivated with a westward exposure, on sandy and clayey soils. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C, with indigenous yeasts and a duration of about 15-18 days. After the malolactic fermentation and a light filtration, the wine matures on the fine lees and is bottled in July following the harvest.

The white Chablis Louis Moreau is a wine made to enhance the notes of finesse and freshness of the young and fragrant Chardonnay. It is a pleasant table companion, particularly versatile in pairings. It pairs very well with appetizers, seafood first courses, or with white-fleshed fish of delicate flavor. In the glass, it has a beautiful light yellow hue, with bright golden reflections. The bouquet offers aromas of citrus, lime zest, nuances of white flowers, Granny Smith apple, pear, white peach, and subtle iodine hints. The sip is characterized by a lively expressive tension, which stretches vertically towards a savory and very fresh finish.
