The Albarossa 'Terre d'Ombra' by I Carpini comes from a red grape that is locally named Carlo Alberto, after the producer's grandson. Resulting from spontaneous fermentation and a long aging process, it expresses a rich and wild character. On the nose, it is deep, with dark and ripe fruit, hints of plum, and a tertiary profile of leather and tobacco. On the palate, it is enveloping and warm, full-bodied with mature tannins, and a long finish that invites the next sip, ideal with braised dishes or cheese like Montébore.

Intense ruby red with garnet reflections.
Scent:
Complex, with plum and blackberry, then evolved hints of leather, tobacco, and a final underbrush.
Taste:
Rich and enveloping, full-bodied with evident warmth, with mature tannins and a long finish.
