Chardonnay Muzic 2025
The Chardonnay from Muzic is a soft, rich, and fresh wine from Collio Friulano, produced with a short skin maceration and aging in steel for 8 months. Its fresh, savory, and mineral soul is enriched by a fruity and floral aromatic profile, with nuances of aromatic herbs and citrus. The palate is round and enveloping, with good freshness.
A balanced, immediate, and graceful Chardonnay that is always enjoyable to drink, pairing well with a wide selection of traditional Italian dishes. This is how this Friulian white from Muzic, a small family-run winery in Collio, presents itself, combining respect, tradition, and the environment, always striving for minimal impact on the surrounding nature in every bottle. A Chardonnay where the mineral aromas represent the characteristic imprint, leading to a territorial sip where nothing is out of place.
This Chardonnay is made from pure grapes of the same name, cultivated using the Guyot and double inverted systems in hillside vineyards located near San Floriano del Collio, characterized by a subsoil predominantly composed of clay. The grapes, once they arrive at the vinification facilities of Muzic, are destemmed and pressed, followed by skin maceration for 12 hours at 15 degrees. This is followed by pressing, static decantation of the must, and alcoholic fermentation in steel for a period ranging from 8 to 10 days. The aging process is carried out.also in steel, on the fine lees, for a total of 8 months, at the end of which the wine is ready to be bottled and marketed.
This Chardonnay from Muzic presents itself visually with a typically straw-yellow color, characterized by light greenish reflections. The olfactory spectrum highlights deep notes, where fruity sensations blend with mineral aromas, also enriched by light touches of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied, round, with a sip marked by a fresh and savory vein that invites drinking. A bottle with which the Muzic winery confirms its skill in expressing the terroir of Friulian Collio, both with indigenous grape varieties and with international ones.
